Introduction

The MagRemote software has been developed to allow remote monitoring and control of the pedestrian gates without having to go the physical location of the gate itself. The initial software will target pedestrian gates, particularly those with the MBC and MGC controllers. The software will be installed on a host computer connected to a Local Area Network (LAN). The software will then be able to manage and control all gates that are connected to the LAN.

Installation

The software requires that a MagRemote hardware dongle is inserted into an available USB port. Without this dongle, the software will not work.

System Requirements

he MagRemote software application is designed to run on a PC computer running the Microsoft Windows operating system, compatible with Windows versions 7, 8 and 10 when released. The software needs to be installed on a dedicated host computer, which is to be functioning on the same LAN as the gates that the operator wishes to control/manage. The host computer is intended for use by security or system management operations team members responsible for operating, supporting and maintaining the gate(s).
For an optimal view, the customer needs to run the software on a PC and display that has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels minimum.
